The waistbelt and leg loops are lined with breathable, contoured foam to provide support and reduce pressure during extended use. Wide, spaced shoulder straps help prevent neck chafing, while sliding straps give you more freedom of movement. All contact points are padded, making it more comfortable whether you're walking, climbing, or suspended in place.
Adjustment is quick and simple thanks to Petzl’s self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles, which feature anti-slip devices to help keep your fit secure throughout the day. The elastic leg loop bands help maintain proper adjustment, and can be replaced if needed.
Organization is made easy with metal side attachment points that can be folded away to avoid snags, a metal ventral D-ring for connecting a work seat, and a textile loop for lanyard attachment using a RING OPEN. The harness also includes five pre-shaped equipment loops, two slots for CARITOOL tool holders or the INTERFAST connection system, and a rear attachment point on the waistbelt for a restraint lanyard. The shoulder straps even have a parking system to keep fall-arrest lanyard connectors out of the way while keeping them within easy reach.
For added safety, a red indicator appears after a fall on the dorsal attachment point, signaling that the harness should be retired. Certified to a wide range of international safety standards, the AVAO is constructed from durable nylon, polyester, aluminum, and steel, ensuring long-lasting performance in tough environments.
